Dear WG-I colleagues,
I apologize if your find this message cross posted.
We are going to have to a small WG-I meeting tomorrow (7/14) morning at 11:30AM. We'll meet each other in front of Room 513D. The topic will be focused on the development of a QC mechanism so that we are able to tell the station performance across various seismic networks in order to add more FDSN backbone stations.
Your presence will be more than welcome.
Dear WGI members,
Today we are going to discuss some issues related to the FDSN backbone station. The agenda is slightly revised in order to make the meeting go smoother. The brief introduction to the current status of FDSN backbone stations will be highlighted at first followed by discussions of all raided issues in 2017.
See you VERY Soon,
Thanks for the plot. I am impressed with the superb low noise level of BFO.

As shown in the attached image files, BFO's noise level (mode value in blue color) is pretty low compared to the rest of 139 FDSN stations (gray lines). Personally I love the performance of BFO station.

We can figure out criteria for selecting potential new FDSN stations during the WG-1 meeting. Are you coming for the IUGG meeting this year?
