DATES OF OPERATION:  	 22 Jul 1995 to Present
SEISMOMETER TYPE and ADC:
Streckeisen Model STS-2/VBB 3 component system.  Kinemetrics Model FBA-23 
for all low-gain channels and a Vaisala PTA 427 Microbarograph.   
ADC is Quanterra Model QX80.
DIGITAL FORMAT:
24 bit integer data words for all components.  Range: +8,388,607 to -8,388,608 counts.
EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:  
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1991) is used for all short period data.

CALB is a temporary station located near the epicenter of the 17 Jan 1994 
Southern California earthquake to collect aftershock data.
