| Description |
Sinoprobe-2 was conducted in 4 deployments. Each deployment used 300 RT125A data recorders. Some stations were re-ocupied on latter deployments. The seismic recording line ran rom the Mongolia/China border southeast to Beijing, China. The objective of this seismic line was to investigate the crustal and uppermost mantle structure of northern China and the tectonic development of the Trans-Central Asia orogenic belt. |
