Description |
This seismic network will be part European project AGEMERA (funded by Horizon Europe Programme) in which we want to calibrate and validate passive seismic techniques based on seismic noise applied to mineral exploration and monitoring. The first test site area is located in the Iberian Pyrite Belt (South Spain) close to an old cupper open pit mine exploited in the 70s and 80s. The main objective is to deploy short period sensors (2Hz) and high frequency sensors (4.5 Hz) to validate the new developed algorithms for ambient noise interferometry and Rayleigh wave ellipticity for mineral exploration and monitoring. |

A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) is a
standardized way of identifying electronic records, and can be used to automatically
generate citation text. DOIs are recommended for all seismic networks.
