Description

I will be attending the Juneau Icefield Research Program (juneauicefield.org) as a volunteer Teaching Faculty member to teach undergraduate and graduate students about field methodologies for installing seismic instrumentation on glaciers. I will use the opportunity of being in this high-melt glacial environment to hopefully also install and test the performance of a Certis sensor in a high-tilt environment. The data collected from the Certis and adjacent baseline sensor will be used by EarthScope for analysis of the Certis' performance. Otherwise, the data will be used for demonstration and educational purposes. I will be hand-carrying all equipment, so no shipping is required.
