We have received the following application for membership from the
Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA), operators of the
Portuguese National Network, https://www.fdsn.org/networks/detail/PM/, as
well as temporary networks. Data for the PM network is shared via GEOFON
and IRIS.

There are two other organizations from Portugal already on the steering
committee https://www.fdsn.org/structure/#steer:
- Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST) - Universidade Tecnica de Lisboa -
operates regional networks IP and CV
- Instituto Dom Luiz (IDL) - Universidade de Lisboa - formerly CGUL -
