1. Global Seismograph Network - GSN: IRIS -2 System

 DATES OF OPERATION: 4 Nov 2000 to Present.

 SEISMOMETER TYPE AND ADC:
Guralp CMG3-T Borehole Seismometer, Geotech KS54000i Borehole Seismometer, Kinemetrics FBA-23 Accelerometer, Digiquartz Microbarograph. ADC is Quanterra model Q680

 DIGITAL FORMAT:
24 bit integer data words for all broad-band (40 sps & 20 sps), long period (1 sps), very long period (0.1 sps) and ultra long period (0.01 sps) channels. Range: +8,388,607 to -8,388,608 counts.  Event detected CMG-3TB and FBA-23 data (80 sps). 

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1991) is used for the event-detected components.

COMMENTS:
The KS54000 and CMG-3TB are installed with a non-standard orientation.  The orientation portion of the SEED channel names changed from N and E to 1 and 2 (e.g. 00-BHN changes to 00-BH1 or 10-BHN to 10-BH1).
