Geology: Tixi lies on the Primorsky chain which is located in the northern portion of the Verchogansky chain, which is part of the Jano-Kolymskaja fold system. The Primorsky chain consists of linear folds of sedimentary rock such as crystalline shale, various types of limestone and argillite and aleurite. | |
