| Site Description: The tunnel is located at the b ottom of a 25 m deep shaft as one of a couple. Recording equipment is placed out side the vault between two doors separating the vault from the shaft. The shaft was drilled specially for seismological purposes and is part of an area of 1 squ are km in the forests 60 km S of Moscow which hosts a lot more sensors. | |
