SEISMOMETER TYPE: & ADC
Streckeisen STS-1very broadband seismometer and Streckeisen STS-2 very 
broadband seismometer.  ADC is Quanterra QX80.

DIGITAL FORMAT:
24 bit integer data words for all broadband, long period, very long period and
ultra long period channels.  Range: +8,388,607 to -8,388,608 counts
16 bit integer data words for mass position and all environmental channels.
Range:  +32767 to -32768

EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHM:
The Murdock event detector (Murdock, 1991) is used for the event detected compon
ents.
