EVENT DETECTOR ALGORITHIM:
At the Canadian National Seismology Data Centre (CNSDC), continuous data are
archived onto 12" SONY optical disk platters; the CNSN 4-band frequency
domain event detector creates a list of "refined detections" for further
post processing, including automatic locations.

COMMENTS:
The station had operated with Standard Station Network equipment (3 orthogonal
WIlmore MarkII short period seismometers and 3 orthogonal Spregnether "Columbia"
long-period seismometers-photographic recording) from 18 October 1961 to 11 May
1989, and then Regional Station Network equipment (one short period vertical
Geotch S-13 seismometer - heat sensitive paper recording from 11 May 1989 to 29
August 1992.
