FDSN Network Information

FDSN code Z5 (2018-2020) Network name A four-dimensional view of deformation in the Eastern Alaska Range - where did the slip on the Denali fault go? (ICED)
Start year 2018 Operated by
  • Australian National University (ANU, Australia)
End year 2020 Deployment region Australia
Short description

To further understand how faults in the Alaska Range may be transforming lateral slip from the Denali fault into uplift, project researchers will install 7 closely spaced temporary broadband seismometers (Nanometrics 120PA) to record continuously for two years.
