Description

Temporary seismic array of broadband stations deployed along a transect across the southwestern Alps (France and Italy). Duration: 14 months. 46 stations in the linear array from the Rhone valley to the central Po plain; 5 to 10 km spacing. 9 offline station at ~40 km distance north and south of the linear array. Goal: imaging of the crust and upper mantle using earthquakes and noise records. Sensors: mostly Nanometrics Trillium-120, with a few Güralp CMG3ESP (90s) and Güralp CMG40T (60s). Digitizers: Nanometrics Taurus.
