Description |
A temporary 10-station broadband seismometer array was located in the Trans-Antarctic Mountains, Ross Sea region, Antarctica over the 1999-2000 austral summer, in order to detect and characterize seismic activity in the Trans-Antarctic Mountains. A total of 160 events were located, of which about 50% were located in the vicinity of the David Glacier. Some of the results from this experiment are described in "Terra Antarctica, 2002, v9, p41-46" |
