Start year 2004 Operated by
  • University of Cambridge Earth Sciences, United Kingdom
End year 2006 Deployment region
Description

20 broadband seismometers have been deployed in the region of the Chile triple junction to look at the geometry and structure of the subducting ridge. The local seismicity of the region will also be investigated by looking at earthquake location and focal mechanisms. The seismicity of Volcan Hudson will be looked at.
